Thermostatic room controls
Approved document L, Conservation of Fuel and Power, Volume 2: Buildings other than dwellings, 2021 edition incorporating 2023 amendments, defines a thermostatic room control as: ‘A device or system that automatically controls the output of heating and/or cooling emitters to control the temperature in each room (or, where justified, a heating zone) independently where heating and/or cooling is provided by a fixed building service.’
